Primary (mandatory):
Database Administration -MongoDB 3.6+ , MongoDB Atlas
Cloud/AWS Expereince - AWSCP, AWS Architect Certification a Plus
Cloud Native DB Technologies a plus - DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Aurora
Experience with Splunk
Python Experience
Project Management
Experience with MongoDB OPS manager / Automation Agent
Experience with Sharding and large MongoDB multi replica sets
Experience tuning MongoDB Enviornments and Queries
Demonstrated leadership ability with any size groups and superior communication skills; verbal, interpersonal and writtenlt;br />
Experience and demonstrated proficiency utilizing DBMS system management tools and demonstrated proficiency implementing the majority of new DBMS features and functionality preferredlt;br />
Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability direct junior DBA's and onshore/offshore resourceslt;br />
Ability to create/give presentations to project teams/groupslt;br />
Knowledge (Key Success factors):
Experience and Education:
• Requires BS/BA in Computer Science or Information Technology; 7+ years industry experience in Information Systems, ideally all in Database Administration, 4+ years of MongoDB Experience or related disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Demonstrated leadership ability with any size groups and superior communication skills; verbal, interpersonal and written. Experience and demonstrated proficiency utilizing DBMS system management tools and demonstrated proficiency implementing the majority of new DBMS (Database Management Stystem) features and functionality preferred. Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability direct junior DBA's and onshore/offshore resourceslt;br />
