Job Description :
Requirement:: DB2 DBA
Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and Functions
Review the database designs, code, and test plans of other developers and provide recommendations for improvement or optimizations
Design and execute overall database architecture strategy, standards, and practices
Create automation SQL tests for unit, integration, regression
Installation and upgrading of the database server, database, patching and application tools
Perform basic database administration activities for Test and production environments including; Job monitoring, release deployment, basic configuration, process monitoring, and database backup & restore
Monitoring and taking proactive steps to increase the availability and minimizing the outages of DB2
Provide support to troubleshoot and resolve technical & performance issues in the production environment
