Urgent needs: Software Developer, with Core C++ @ Austin, TX / Canada


Client : MNC
Position : Software Developer, C++
Skills : C/C++,Kernel Programming, Unix, Python/Perl Scripting
Location : Austin, TX / Canada
Start date : ASAP, at least by Mid July
Duration : 6+ months
Rate : Open / DOE


Interview process: Phone to Skype (Technical Team from Germany will be speaking to these candidates)


Skills Required:
Programming skills - Languages: C / C ++
Operating System software design & development,
Experience with Unix OS, Kernel Programming and Open Source development, Deep understanding on Hardware architecture.
Experience with Open Source tools & scripting languages: perl/python and ML/DL will be added advantage.
Debug and problem determination skills
Knowledge in Servers domain
Candidates should have team-based software development experience, be self-starters, demonstrated communicators, and able to work well with a group of peers.
5-7 years of development in C/C++ and OS software
1 year experience with usage of Open source tools (Git, Jenkins) and scripting language (Python/Perl)
1 years of experience in Kernel Programming, with knowledge of interfacing with system hardware, deriving system performance counters
Prior exposure to working with Open Source community and related tools will be an added benefit.
Design and develop tools to enhance Performance Tools for OS Platform Optimization.
Define and implement high performance software by leveraging a strong understanding of Kernel Programming.
Be a contributor in developing an environment of continuous improvement across product lines and development groups
Define, design, implement and test software applications using a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to: C/C++, Unix, Python and scripting languages
Interact with the test team to define test plans and test data; identify reproduce and defects; fix and verify defects.
