Overview
If you are looking for a career at a world-renowned institution leading pediatric cancer using advanced data analytics tools and solutions, we are looking for you. You will be working closely with customers and design teams to prioritize data and information requirements and translating requirements into applications that employ appropriate decision support capabilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing powerful visualizations, excellent communication skills, understanding of effective data modeling and a background in a clinical environment preferably as a nurse, lab tech or other appropriate clinical position.
 
Responsibilities

Works closely with customers and design teams in prioritizing data and information requirements.
Determines how Clinical Business Intelligence (CBI) systems will provide the information required to make effective business decisions; translates requirements into applications that employ appropriate decision support and reporting tools.
Involved in the design, development and maintenance of CBI.
Performs modeling of data sources and flows, works with CI and IS staff to define an operational framework that will define, develop and implement CBI policies and security frameworks to ensure precise and secure delivery of knowledge and information.
Monitors system performance, implements changes to optimize performance. Involved in the selection of new products. Needed skills and knowledge includes process and data modeling, CBI architecture and tools, development life cycle methodologies, IS planning methodology, extensive knowledge of the enterprise''s data and decision-making processes.

Minimum Education

Bachelor''s degree required.
Master''s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related area preferred.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years data mining experience related experience that includes one year experience with BI development tools such as Cognos, SAS, Business Objects, Tableau, Oracle, or Sybase is required.
In lieu of requiered experience listed above, five (5) years of experience in a healthcare informatics or clinical environment with knowledge of business intelligence or coding can be considered.
Presentation level design experience is preferred.
