Business Systems Analyst

The Systems Integration Analyst will work closely with Project Managers, Business teams, Technology teams, Clients and Partners to capture and document business requirements for FordDirect projects.

Analyzes and documents client's business requirements and processes and communicates these requirements by constructing conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates from organization.

Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develops business specifications to support these modifications.

This role will be responsible for facilitating the development team activities using Agile development process, e.g., playing the Scrum Master.

In addition, this candidate is required to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions:


1. Collaborate with FordDirect Business, Technology, Service Providers and Partners to capture requirements, build process workflows, understand data flows and facilitate working sessions. 2. Gather, analyze and document requirements; functional, non-functional, data source, use cases, business rules, technical, authoring. 3. Produce documents and visual diagrams: workflow, data-flow, sequence, and activity, decision trees. 4. Project support of digital applications within FordDirect. 5. Engagement in FordDirect PMO processes for ensuring proper channels of delivery are being followed. 6. Able to adapt and work in agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies 7. Process and manage JIRA tickets for the application portfolio. 8. Identify and capture project risks and communicate those risks on regular basis to program/project manager. 9. Collect meeting notes and project milestones within FordDirect collaborative WIKI space. 10. Perform Quality Assurance Analysis function if needed.

1. Interview key stakeholders to understand problem statement and constraints 2. Develop PowerPoint presentations and Visio process flows to support analysis and recommendations 3. Capture documentation within JIRA and Confluence wiki 4. Clearly present requirements to management, development and testing teams 5. Safeguard the company’s assets. 6. Adhere to the company’s security and controls compliance program. 7. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices. 8. Maintain a focus on customer-service, efficiency, quality, and growth. 9. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:




Must have a Bachelor’s degree.

Must have at least 5 years of multi-disciplined IT projects experience.

Must have several years’ experience working on IT projects through discovery and delivery phases throughout the SDLC (waterfall and agile

Have experience working with Microsoft Office tools including MS Project.

Have strong data management and analysis skills.

Understanding of Project Management methodologies and have ability to prioritize issues with business effectively.

Willing to work flexible hours to support application launches.



Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must have the knowledge and background on WebServices

Must have knowledge and background on API subscription model, and usage monitoring.

Have experience working on projects related to digital marketing, campaign management (display, search, social media) using one or more of the following marketing platforms: Google, Adobe and Facebook

Have knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus

Be able to identify technical Integration requirements based on usage

Experience with gathering business requirements and documenting them effectively during the project discovery phase.

Ability to multitask due to numerous projects and responsibilities.

Experience working with JIRA and Confluence.

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience including presentations to senior leadership, peer groups, and associates.
