Senior Business Development Representative (BDR)

CriticalRiver is experiencing exponential growth and is recruiting for the right individual(s) to add to its Business Development team located in San Jose, CA.
Our Silicon Valley office is located in San Jose, CA, close to the 680 and 880 freeways and a thirty-minute commute from the Palo Alto/Fremont Area

Job Requirements

As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will have an opportunity to help drive the growth of our fast-growing Oracle and/or Salesforce practices. The objective of the BDR is to generate qualified leads for our field sales organization to close. The BDR will have the support and training from the Director of Business Development and marketing team. This is an ideal position for individual(s) looking to build their sales skills with career advancement to a field sales position or leadership position.
What you will be doing:
Qualify leads toidentify opportunities through marketing, calling, email, and LinkedIn campaign follow-up activities
Articulate CriticalRiver’s service and product offering to prospective Salesforce clients
BDR will be responsible for prospecting into strategic accounts to confirm meetings for Account Executives
Meet/exceed daily activities for calling and contacting potential Salesforce clients
Meet/exceed monthly/quarterly qualified leads quota to ensure pipeline objectives
Track progress of qualified leads through our CRM system
Partner with field sales to strategize your calling and follow-up approach
Work with our Director of Business Development on best practices
Requirements:
1 to 3 years of experience in a Sales Development/Inside Sales role
Ability to achieve a high volume of outbound phone/email activities on a daily basis while maintaining a positive attitude and energy
Recent college graduates with marketing and communications backgrounds
Passion for sales and building relationships
Passion for technology and continuous learning
Consequential thinker and problem-solver
Ability to gain trust and build relationships with prospects quickly via phone
Excellent communicator and team player
Working knowledge with CRM systems
BA/BS Degree required
