Business Analyst

All work must be completed at client site Columbus, Ohio.

Looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Business Analysts to join the team. As Senior Business Analysts
contractor, she or he will be involved in the business process and requirements, definition, design, testing, and training
for the development and deployment of applications and provide post deployment support to our end users.

Skills & Responsibilities

This position will function as a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst that include:

Develop and document application test plans and scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications

Lead reviews of business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement

Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications

Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures

Participate in defining system implementation and user-acceptance test plans

Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/issues, with ability to lead small groups of IT and business staff for
troubleshooting, problem resolution and brainstorming for available solutions

Apply best practices in the design of system processes to support information loads, validations and reporting

Provide project level analyses and produce required project analysis documentation

Conducts final quality analysis on programs, reviewing accuracy of output

Understand and negotiate the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders

Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings

Work closely with business units, technicians, and managerial staff

Lead and participate in system testing and ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements prior to user
acceptance testing

Assist creating training materials and participate in End User training

Work closely with Project Sponsors and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery

Experience: Required

10+ years of business analyst experience

6+ years of requirement gathering

6+ year of business process analysis

6+ Years of quality assurance testing experience

Competency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

Experience working with cross-functional teams

Demonstrated the ability to communicate difficult concepts to non-technical users

Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation

Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements

Experience with process mapping

Excellent documentation skills

Good organizational and prioritization skills; able to multi-task, proficient ability to organize and prioritize work and
handle multiple projects and manage conflicting priorities.

Application training skills

Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Previous SQL experience is plus

Education:

4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
