Big Data Tester (DW/BI – Big data)
Location: Bethesda, MD
Duration: Long-term contract

Client: Marriot

Mandatory Skills:
4+ years of Enterprise Test experience in Data testing using any DB like MySql, Oracle or Postgres
Experience with testing real-time data-processing systems
Knowledge of data flows, data architecture, ETL and processing of unstructured data
Exposure to Postgres, & Couchbase
Strong knowledge in SQL to write complex queries to verify data
Understanding of Data migration testing & Data Quality checks
Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, Version control and Defect Management systems - JIRA
Ability to map functional requirement with technical design and ensure the complete workflow is tested understanding the impact of dependent modules

Additional skills:
Experience in Microservices testing
Familiarity with AWS – S3
Automation experience – java or python based will be added advantage
Ability to work with offshore-onsite model
