Title: AutoCAD Subject Matter Expert
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: Contract/ Full time
Who has end-2-end experience in Auto CAD installations, administrations, upgrades…. Preferably in Utility domain.
Mandatory Skills:
Must possess at least 8+ years of experience in Auto CAD GIS project development, management, business application requirement and Design mgmt.
Experience in end to end project delivery primarily on Auto CAD, GIS , .Net and/or Java technologies.
Very strong in business communication in a multi stakeholder environment especially managing third party vendors, consulting with users to understand needs, define requirements, and provide effective solutions.
Good understanding and experience on AutoCAD administration, Licensing, customization, environment management and Deployment activities
Good hands on experience on LISP programming
Experience with electrical distribution and transmission utility systems including mapping data management and related business processes. Preferred Skills: 1. Knowledge on different Auto-desk products licensing and its customization for Utilities to combine Asset and GIS data 2. Knowledge on Functional testing tools such as Client ALM and reporting tools 3. LISP functions and its related technologies 4. Understanding of Web Services process flow between systems and use of REST API for testing 5. Able to understand various business rules associated with drawing blocks used for Autodesk products
Ability to work both as a team member or independently to maintain project timelines, budgets and deliver on commitments
Job Roles/Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand business process at various levels between CAD-GIS-Asset Systems
Prepare Use cases for different systems involved in product upgrade and confirm their availability in new build
Ensure the availability of Drawing blocks with the mentioned file formats
Define Configuration rules for Drawing while combining data from GIS & Asset system and Vice versa
Co-ordinate with the deployment team for licensing & product support on various server, machine environment''s
Interact with the business teams on different system interfacing to address various needs of Auto desk products
