Job Description :
Required Qualifications

5+ years of C# and/or Visual Basic .NET (or 5 years combination of C# and Visual Basic.NET) and ASP.NET experience;
5+ years of SQL Server database experience;
2+ years of relevant architecture experience;
Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration;
Proficiency with Visual Basic, C#, .NET and VBScript;
Proficiency coding ASP.NET Web applications and ASP / VBScript web pages;
Proficiency coding VB.NET Windows based applications;
Proficiency developing XML Web Services and Server Components with VB.NET;
Proficiency in Querying MS-SQL using T-SQL


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Roster Management systems within a Correctional environment;
Experience in Health Services Utilization Management systems within a Correctional environment;
Experience in Health Services Mental Health Inmate Transfer systems within a Correctional environment;
Experience with the Emergency Management systems within a Correctional environment;
Experience with Visitation systems within a Correctional environment;
Experience in Accreditation Management within a Correctional environment;
Experience with Inmate Formal Grievance, Informal Grievance, and Appeals within a Correctional environment;
Experience in Health Service reporting of HIPPA Compliance data within a Correctional environment;
Experience with Inmate Transition Planning and Re-Entry within a Correctional environment;
Experience with Work Release Inmate Monitoring System within a Correctional environment;
Experience with Community Corrections Offender Needs and Assessments within a Correctional environment; and
Experience in deploying and maintaining IBM DB2 mainframe web services to web-enabled applications

Education Requirements
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent work experience

The duties and responsibilities of this position are:

Working closely with customers, subject matter experts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions; The solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the FDC''s architectural standards;
Being involved in the full systems life cycle;
Designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget;
Making recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code;
Participating in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations;
Providing senior level programming support while managing expectations of diverse stakeholders and providing regular briefings to executive leadership; and
Working independently as part of a larger cross-functional team, being involved in implementation activities, support of the FDC governance, and other deliverables as needed.
