The client is looking for an Agile Delivery Lead to join our Application Development team. The Delivery Lead will manage the delivery of complex software products across internal teams and customers with large enterprise and/or high citizen impact. The job will require working with existing teams including projects utilizing other programming languages, such as C# .Net. Preference will be given to candidates with an Application Development background.
The ideal candidate will:
Act as the product champion, and will be able to evangelize the product vision effectively to their team and to stakeholders
understand the fundamentals of software development process
proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning
possess strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a diverse team
coach/mentor less senior team members
champion agile delivery and the use of services
collaborate with and present to business and technical teams as well as different levels of leadership
work on multiple concurrent projects/iterations with multiple scrum teams
demonstrate sound judgement and excellent organization skills
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience with Agile development methodologies - 8 Years Required
Experience building and managing high-performing agile teams - 5 Years Required
Experience managing multi-team program/products as agile scrum master- 4 Years Required
Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for the business partner and the operational aspects of the project - 5 Years Required
Facilitate regular status meetings with project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders. Solicit stakeholder feedback to validate priorities - 5 Years Required
Lead agile ceremonies including daily standup meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives - 5 Years Required
Assist in the development and management of the product backlog. Prioritize, design, and implement new features and enhancements - 5 Years Required
Manage risks and track issues throughout the project - 5 Years Required
Manage the time reporting tasks and financials (SOW) for the project - 5 Years Required
Coaching/mentoring others - 3 Years Required
SKILLS DESIRED:
Demonstrated experience fulfilling the role of Agile BA and QA - 2 Years Desired
Experience working in Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development environments - Desired
Experience working with teams developing web-based solutions - Desired
Ability to write simple SQL queries - Desired
