Job Description :
Title: AWS Data Modeler/Architect
Duration: 3 months + Ext (This is a 1 year project)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Primary Skills: Data Modeling, AWS (Redshift, S3, Lambda etc.,)
Secondary Skills: SnowFlake, Data warehousing.
Basic Qualifications:
10 - 12 years prior data analyst and data modeling experience preferred.
Logical Design Demonstrated experience with large scale, multiple business solutions across divisions or enterprise.
Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels.
Must have worked for companies in retail domain Eg: Kohls, Walmart etc.,
Hands – on Expertise with Snowflake architecture and/or AWS architecture.
Responsibilities:
Work with business stakeholders and data SMEs to understand the business and analytics needs, and translate business requirements into technical data modeling, ETL, or reporting requirements.
Design and Develop analytical solutions in AWS Architecture. – Atleast 2 projects.
AWS Redshift with Strong SQL, database design / modelling skills in AWS (Redshift / RDS
Hands-on experience in managing EC2/S3 and other cloud components.
Big Data experience is preferred.
Nice to have: (Not necessarily required)
Experience working with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
Experience with Data Governance workflows and tools (Collibra preferred
Big Data.
