Position: AIX System Administrator-
Location: Raleigh, NC 27609
Duration: 11 Months
Rate: $40-45/hr on C2C
Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience
Expert knowledge of AIX LVM Required 3 Years
ServiceNow and BigFix skills nice to have. Highly desired 2 Years
Expert knowledge of LPAR profile creation and configuration Required 3 Years
Expert knowledge of PowerVM administration Required 3 Years
Expert knowledge of AIX OS installation (via NIM) and configuration Required 3 Years
Expert knowledge of OS user, group creation, administration Required 3 Years
Expert knowledge of HMC administration Required 3 Years
SSH/SFTP client/server administration Required 3 Years
SUDO and Netbackup client configuration Required 3 Years
Understand how to design and configure AIX platforms to support applications, processes, and accounts Required 3 Years
Solid foundation with network concepts and AIX Required 3 Years
In depth familiarity with Shell scripting (Bourne and Bourne relatives) Required 3 Years
In depth familiarity Automation programming (i.e., sed, awk, Perl, Python) Required 3 Years
In depth experience with AIX performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. Required 3 Years
