JOB DESCRIPTION
Adobe AEM Developer should have a strong background on Web content management (WCM) & J2EE development technologies with solid experience of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) as well as Test-Driven Development (TDD) in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC Specialized in developing end-to-end websites using AEM 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBITIES
· A thorough understanding of all of the components of the platform and infrastructure is required.
· Proficient in Java/J2EE
· Experience working on Adobe Day CQ5/AEM versions 6.x including CRX, template development, Page editing, defining security access roles, administering users/ groups, Custom components, Writing OSGI backend bundles, etc.
· Experience working on AEM 6.3 including CRX, template development, Page editing, defining security access roles, administering users/ groups, Custom components, Writing OSGI backend bundles, etc.
· Extensive knowledge on Adobe AEM software, customizations, implementing custom components, templates, writing java OSGI bundles, JCR APIs, integrations using web services, etc.
· Strong knowledge on DAM (Digital Asset Management) features of CQ5, writing & customizing DAM asset workflows, custom DAM asset finder & editor interfaces, etc.
· Extensive programing in web technologies – JavaScript, CSS, etc
· Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required
· Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
· Experience in developing Templates (Static and Editable templates), Custom Components, creating and launching Workflows and customizing out of the box Widgets.
· Hands-on experience in implementing features from technologies like Sling, OSGi, Felix, JCR, and current AEM functionalities of integrated products.
· Working on responsive designs using Bootstrap and media queries.
· Created Client libraries on AEM.
· Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
· Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
· Communicating with external web services
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field.
· 8+ Years of experience with minimum of 4+ AEM experience and 2+ years Angular/Frontend Development
SKILLS REQUIRED
· Excellent background and knowledge on Java and J2EE technologies and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, JMS, XML, SOAP, Web services, etc.
· Proficiency with Java, JavaScript and HTML5
· Professional, precise communication skills
· Familiarity and working knowledge with content management systems.
· Experienced with backend service layer integration using AJAX, REST API.
· Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
· Ability to provide SEO solutions for single page apps
· Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects and keeping the framerate above 30fps at all times
· Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
· Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback
· Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed
· Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
· Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
