Role:Sr. Automation Engineer

Location: Herndon, VA

Job Description:

Responsibilities

Enable automation using bots and programming / scripting languages based on requirements and exception handling capabilities.
Work in an agile manner to gather user stories, sprints to deliver automation capabilities for IT Operational needs.
Develop test scripts to validate the automation capability delivered to support IT Operations and System health check validations.
Must be open to work on different Rotational shift’s since this is part of command center support Team

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in developing and supporting Automation for IT operations utilizing scripting & programming exp. in Java, Python & Perl.
Exp in AWS Lambda function is definite Plus.
Good Exposure or experience with ServiceNow usage and navigation and reporting
Soft Skill: Verbal and Written communication, Time management, customer service orientation, multi-tasking, self-motivated and team work
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and field experience.
Certification in ITIL and other technologies preferred.

Note and project Shift timing:

1st Shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST) - No Shift Allowance for 1st Shift

2nd Shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM EST) - $300/week as Shift Allowance for 2nd Shift

3rd Shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM EST) - $500/week as Shift Allowance for 3rd Shift
