QA Test Analyst
3-5 years experience - The software tester responsible for leading software testing, assisting with business requirements definition to successful completion and delivery of mission critical application. Writes and executes tests on newly developed reports and software to evaluate its capabilities versus system requirements and documented specifications. Writes test plans, test cases/scripts, test reports and evaluations. Assist with technical support, software installation, problem solving, and troubleshooting. Provides input to development group on findings. Designs and develops testing scenarios and support tools, and administers portions of the testing and support process. Writes and performs regression test plans on new software releases and reports discrepancies. Conceives and implements changes to the test plans to ensure that all software functions and reports are thoroughly tested. Software tester responsibilities include the discovery, analysis and documentation of business requirements, process flows, use cases, test and training plans. Works closely with product, relationship management, quality assurance, project management, and technology teams. The position will be the liaison between client subject matter experts and the development team. The position will also facilitate delivery methodology standards in the creation of solutions, understanding client tactical plans and goals and expressing business requirements in terms of the function to be performed by the solution. Other responsibilities include overseeing business to system knowledge management, and assisting in overall system design from user interface through backend processes. This is a team-based position that requires strong interpersonal skills.
