Role: ServiceNow Architect
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6-12 months

US Citizen, GC Holder or Solid H1B will work.

Might manage consultants, or people, but really supposed to work with the vendor to build out the architecture and then implement their ServiceNow environment post deployment/implementation
Heavy architecture and technical knowledge, but not necessarily an architect but could be Engineer/Developer Level, or someone who''s led ServiceNow implementations, or has owned the tool - knows at least enough to do light administration and configuration work and not be solely reliant on the vendor for literally everything but doesn''t have to be super technical necessarily
More than just Changing forms in ServiceNow – right now they’re only using 1 module in ServiceNow and that’s ITSM,
Adding 3 modules to Service Now
ITOM (IT Operations Management), ITBM (IT Business Management), ITSM (IT Service Management) upgrades, implementations, configurations, build etc.

ServiceNow Architect is a Sr. Technologist, who will help re-architect and implement the ServiceNow platform providing leadership and oversight to the ServiceNow team and executive stakeholders. Ensures team alignment to ITIL best practices, business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap and is actively involved in the overarching platform governance. Will help drive solutions and make platform decisions in alignment with ITIL best practices, business strategy and governance. Works closely with ServiceNow team to plan, manage and deliver ServiceNow releases. Works with ServiceNow team and key project stakeholders to capture business and user requirements. Works with team to ensure requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification. Possesses sound foundational knowledge of ITIL and ServiceNow platform and applications, a detailed understanding of the business users represented, and the ability to describe business and user requirements in a manner that enables system administrators and ServiceNow developers to understand, estimate relative effort, and deliver business functionality. Responsible for staff training, development, motivation and performance reviews. This role requires demonstrated strong architecture, project management, full system lifecycle experience, agile/SCRUM experience, hands-on approach, and results oriented skills in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Overall ownership and oversight of ServiceNow
Leads team in alignment to business strategy, roadmap, and platform governance policies
Provides development coaching, training, mentoring, direction and oversight to team resources
Articulates vision and business value of building, supporting, and developing platform
Further development and adherence to SCRUM/Agile development best practices and methodology
Represents project stakeholders throughout planning, development, and release processes
Works with team to develop release estimates
Translates technical complexities to project stakeholders, ensuring understanding of design decisions
Establishes project timelines and ensures team resources complete projects on schedule
Tracks and communicates initiative/project status, serves as escalation to resolve obstacles and works to deliver project work on schedule and budget.
Takes ownership of platform support issues and works to resolution
Identifies, executes and regularly monitors key performance indicators to assess effectiveness. Develops, communicates and executes programs to address performance deviations.

Required Minimum Education Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in related area or 10+ years of equivalent experience. Required Minimum Experience
10+ years’ experience managing and leading direct reports
5+ years’ experience managing ServiceNow administration/development with proven experience managing SCRUM/Agile projects
5 + years’ experience managing/leading projects following PMI best practices
ITIL v3 foundation certified
5 years’ experience leading or process development/ownership in ITIL processes, e.g., Incident, Release, Problem, Change Management
5 years’ ServiceNow application development experience
3 years’ ServiceNow system administration experience
ServiceNow platform architect experience strongly desired
Experience working in a manufacture environment preferred

Required Minimum Skills
Possesses a sound technical foundation and working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and applications
Leadership excellence and ability to supervise and guide employees and stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in building, managing and leading direct and crossfunctional teams
Directs and oversees ServiceNow strategic and tactical planning
Ability to develop and forge strong relationships and build consensus among competing stakeholders
Ability to work with a high level of autonomy, knowing when to seek advice and agreement from senior colleagues
Experience and ability to communicate complex information clearly in writing and in oral presentations to a range of audiences
Superior writing skills and ability to create business documents.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal, planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage challenging workloads and competing deadlines
Exercise good judgment and make decisions in a timely manner
Demonstrated proficiency in project management
