Job Title: Oracle Applications (EBS & FMW) DBA

Description:
This position can be based in either: Keene, NH (or) Edison, NJ
As a Principle Engineer, Oracle Applications (EBS & FMW) DBA, you will perform Oracle web/application and database server administration and support for large multi-terabyte Oracle E-Business Suite implementation.
Responsibilities
·Install, Patch and Clone Oracle e-Business Suite Applications & Database system for Development, QA and Production environments
·Optimize physical design and environment for different access methods and performance. Monitor performance and provide recommendations for schema enhancements using Oracle Enterprise Manager
·Design, create and tune physical database objects to support normalized and dimensional models, maintaining the referential integrity of the database
·Provide support for Exadata Systems
·Monitor and tune the enterprise network for optimal performance, working with developers in tuning with C
·Providing SOX/PCI/IA compliance support by implementing security best practices on all applications and databases.
·Develop database management productivity tools, including database monitoring procedures and utilities.
·Provide ongoing support of the environment by developing processes and executing object migrations, security and access privilege setup.
·Setup PCP (Parallel Concurrent Processing) and Load Balancing configuration within Oracle E-Business Suite QA and Production environments.
·Mentor and develop skills of Application Database Administrators and Associate Database Administrators.
·Perform Oracle Database backup and recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager Tool.
·Provide 24x7 support and ensure all critical Oracle Database and Oracle e-Business Suite Application system problems are resolved in a timely manner
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Management of Information Systems.
·Five or more years of related experience with Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)/ASM
·Documented proficiency with: Oracle RAC database with ASM, Oracle E-Business Suite Applications & Oracle Database upgrades and Migrations, Database Performance Tuning, Oracle Database backup and recovery using Recovery Manager (RMAN) tool,
·UNIX Shell Scripting, & specialized in implementing Change Management strategy using KINTANA and Oracle grid using ACMP (Application Change Management Pack
·Strong verbal and written communication skills
