This person has to work closely with business owner. A new application will be developed using Appian platform ( ) . This application will help to automate multiple business process (requester, reviewer, approvals, real time chatter, customized multi-dimensional reports within the application
There will also be huge amount of integration through Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platform to subscribe the messages published by multiple source systems (Salesforce, Investran, Master data management etc) and may publish messages at various levels to other systems involved. Ability to learn multiple source and destination systems involved in integration to perform end to end testing.
There is high expectation of this person involved in Automating Web services due to short regression window. (Selenium/UFT), SOAP UI and Java would be advantage.
Since this person would have close work with multiple stake holders and external vendors, good understanding of financial domain is must. Excellent in problem solving skills, positive attitude, and capable to work with multiple vendors (QA team) in a competitive environment without any supervision.
Must Have:
Extremely good in communication
Very good in Agile methodology and should be able to work closely with product owner. Shadow product owner in testing activities.
Very good in hands on Manual testing web based application.
Very strong in preparing Test Plan, Test Execution, communicating with different stakeholders and reporting overall progress, risk, dependency, blockers to project team.
Good understanding of how Business Process Management (BPM) application works (requester, approvals flow) . WE are working in Apprian applications
Very strong in Web Services Testing. Should be able to tell approach of web services testing. Multiple New messages will be built. Should be able to create a plan and test complete new BPM application and integration with multiple source and destination system with web services messages
Very strong in Articulating the needs and risk during the phase of the testing
Excellent working experience in an environment where distributed QA team from different vendors are present. (Competitive atmosphere)
Hands on experience in SOAP UI, web service layer architecture
ALM and Jira
Knowledge of Message monitoring / logging tool such as SPLUNK
Good To Have:
Hands on experience on BPM tool
Ability to create Confluence page and document using confluence
Ability to use Sharepoint for document maintenance and create version control
