Role: Mulesoft Architect
Location: Newport Beach, California
Duration: 12 months

Job Description 

As a MuleSoft Architect you will lead and contribute to the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions based on Enterprise Integration technologies and standards, participating in the design, development, testing and deployment process.

To fulfill the role you must be able to:


Work with application development teams and effectively translate business process and requirements (e. g. requirement specifications, non-functional requirement specifications & use case models / user stories) into technical solutions;
Develop solution architecture and work with IT & business teams to build consensus;
Create macro & micro designs and patterns working with development teams;
Utilize and Augment application framework and establish foundation and standards for code development;
Provide technical guidance and, mentor less skilled developers on MuleSoft design and development best practice with consideration to operational support
Guide/Participate in multiple Agile development teams to develop, test, deploy and support integration components;
Develop sizing estimates and assist in creation of project plans;
Work closely with client’s staff including technical management, architects, and project leads to provide understanding of scope, architecture, resource requirements, status and risks and issues;


Required Technical and Professional Expertise:


Overall 15+ years'' of Solutions Architecture and Development experience;
3+ yrs in design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of MuleSoft APIs, Mulesoft Anypoint and CloudHub;



Experience with:


core JAVA programming experience;
system integration techniques (ex: endpoint API publication, file handling - MFT, transformation, workflow orchestration, dynamic routing, content-based routing, etc. , using MuleSoft);
building custom frameworks, components in MuleSoft;
working knowledge of API management using Anypoint API management tools;
working knowledge of Runtime Manager, etc;
MuleSoft 3rd party Application Connector assessment and usage (installation, exposing as APIs, incorporating into workflows);
scalable Mule flows, error handling etc;
design and implementation of Mule transactions, async flows, message filters, message translators, content enricher & integration patterns;
development of testing suites using Mule MUnit to test regular Mule flows;
CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, etc. ;
designing and developing, consuming RESTful, SOAP, and Microservices;
integration with vendor supplied SaaS Applications;
cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, etc
