Role: Ruby on Rails Developer
Location: Portland, Oregon
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Required skills:
7 years of experience with Ruby and other dynamic languages, web applications, and relational databases
A strong understanding of standard libraries in your primary language, object oriented design principles, and database schema design
Experience creating, testing, supporting, and interacting with REST APIs
Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodology and process
We primarily use Ruby and Postgres on Linux; hosted in AWS
Strong Git experience
Ability to take ownership of large projects with many components
Experience with designing technical plan to implement major product initiatives
Expertise in design, develop and monitor platform-as-a-service providers such as AWS
Bachelor''s in Computer Science or a related field (STEM) degree preferred
Preferred skills:
Financial Services / Lending Experience
Experience working with onshore/offshore teams
Experience in Salesforce Development and Integrations
