Job Description :
As an Information (IT) Project Manager you will:

Develop, modify and review the IT sections of project plans. Recommend acceptance or rejection of plans developed by contractors.

Work with high-level program and project official(s) within and outside IT, IRS, and Treasury organizations to develop the overall project and to identify mission-related work and/or how it may impact other agencies.
Set short or long-range project(s) work plans and schedules either in-service and/or via contracted work.
Direct the implementation of project plans to meet objectives and manage project resources.
Direct the implementation of Treasury and government-wide IT project initiatives as needed,(i.e. annual updates to Dashboard Metrics; targeted oversight reviews of project status; and Congressional oversight reports
Direct and monitor integration activities performed by IRS and contractor/vendor technical staff. Identify and document integration issues, risks, and gaps.



Experience:


Will be in charge of allocating budget, pulling resources, resolving issues that come up during the implementation, and tracking schedules 
The project is expected to take 12-18+ months 
PMP preferred, but not required- Years of experience trumps any sort of extra certification.




1. Must have worked in an Enterprise PM role previously in a financial/banking/treasury/portfolio management environment.

2. Must have excellent communication skills and very adaptable to work within many different team.

3. Must know the SDLC and have worked with developers

4. Experience with Waterfall and Agile as they use a combination of both

5. Must be a driving force and have a strong personality
