Job Description:
· SME for Linux infrastructure managing architecture, roadmap, standards and operations
· Implement and manage configuration management for Linux and servers
· Deploy a framework for Infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring etc.
· Develop Automation to deliver pro-active and predictive operations
· Design a scalable and highly available environment for enterprise logging environment (Splunk, Syslog-ng, ELK etc. Work with business teams to implement retention policies and access.
· Develop automation tools to reduce service requests backlog by providing self-service, delegated toolset for quick resolution of issues.
· Create dashboard for Technical, Business and Executive Management showing environment operational health based on Key Performance Indicators
· Partner with business stake holders to advance hardware implementation projects which includes tracking, upgrade and procurement.
· Work with facilities team to install/configure hardware in the data center
