Java Architect
Frisco, TX
Architect, Design, and Develop extensible, scalable and highly-available Java based microservices
Support enterprise level backend services and mentor junior developers if need
Understand the requirements, current state architecture of the application and create roadmap for the future enhancements accordingly.
Create Software Architecture Document, High Level and Low-Level Design document, Non-functional requirements for the project
Define Integration Design and Security Design for the Web Services and Enterprise components involved
Solid knowledge of Java 1.8, Spring framework, scripting (GoLang) RESTful web services including demonstrable experience in the full J2EE stack
Design and development of modular, object-oriented Java
Project and code management in Jira / Bitbucket and Confluence
Experience with Agile methodologies most specifically Scrum (Preferable)
Helping customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services
Architect and develop customer applications to be cloud optimized
This is 70% hands on role with 30% oversight and support
Prior expertise in Production support or level 3 and above teams
Qualifications
12+ years of development experience, with at least 5 years of technical leadership experience at the project level
Experience architecting & supporting large scale solutions
Experience designing and implementing Microservices (Java 1.8) and REST API
Cloud experience, specifically in AWS
Knowledge on ELK, AppDynamics is a must
You have experience with alerting systems, monitoring tools, and performance metric-gathering tools.
You have hands-on experience with Linux server administration and managing physical servers.
You are passionate about cloud technologies and automation for replacing manual processes with a customer-driven mindset.
