This is a senior Engineer/Architect or SME level role.
The Senior Oracle Engineer will be responsible for defining, developing, coding and managing our core banking technologies and the implementation of full suite of applications that support businesses including configuration and integration while aligning to our data and information strategy to drive business decisions, growth and meet regulatory requirements.
Objectives & Responsibilities:
- The Senior Oracle Engineer is responsible for monitoring and assessing industry, technical and functional trends to conceive, drive, implement and maintain innovative applications solutions that will create and maintain current and future application integration architectures for the Bank
- Be the tech lead that provides guidance and problem-solving for core bank applications and solutions (Core Banking, Payments, Compliance, ERP, EPM, Digital Marketing, CRM, Business Activity Monitoring and Dashboard)
- Accountable for overall quality and delivery of a full suite of applications across Oracle Core Banking, FCCM, ERP, CX, etc. Partner w/key technology leaders to align solutions to the Oracle Fusion Middleware OSB, ESB and SOA
- Collaborate with other Managers, Technical Leads, Developers, Testers, Product Owners and Architects across the Bank to harness the power of a full suite of core banking applications; plan, build and run the technologies for Digital Asset Custody Bank.
- Select methods and techniques to design complex business solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology that meet the Bank's objectives, RBAC controls and regulatory requirements.
- Review and anticipate program/project risks and suggest risk mitigation to program/project manager, PMO, technology management and Risk Management as applicable. Escalating at-risk programs/projects to senior management.
- Provide functional workflows (BPMN 2.0, UML), technical solutions/designs and documentation (BRD, ERD, DRD, TRD) for project execution teams to facilitate implementation.
- Provide proactive and reactive hands on guidance to business units and engineers in analyzing and configuring transaction type life cycle, analyze accounting/reporting/audit and reconciliation requirements, configure Accounting Rules, upload transaction data, adjust journal entries, manage reporting and auditing, and perform diagnostics
What you bring to Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Proven expertise managing core banking applications in financial services sector; Oracle Flexcube Universal Banking Systems experience Required/plus or adjacent systems experience
- Experience with API Management, SOAP, JMS, REST, Linux, Kafka, JSON, XML, WS-*, SOA integration technologies and standards
- Proven track record leading multiple concurrent projects in Oracle preferred
- Demonstrative expertise with Oracle core banking, Compliance, CRM and ERP technologies modules preferred or adjacent suite of application solutions experience
- Proven capabilities defining technology solutions and writing code for the Financial Services domain to solve business (full life cycle of banking and trading activities; settlements & regulatory requirements including experience integrating SWIFT w/in suite of applications
- Strong hands on understanding of SOAP, REST and WADL Proficiency developing using JDeveloper or Eclipse Proficiency with Unix / Linux with strong Shell scripting experience
- Expert knowledge of Oracle SOA, OSB, ESB and in developing SOA Composites involving RESTful/SOAP APIs with XML, XSLT, JSON Standards, Weblogic Application Server, JMS and J2EE architecture
- Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents for a technical readiness audit including cybersecurity, data integration and controls.
- Highly organized, with ability to maintain a data pipeline, status, tracking, escalation, etc
- Experience with Oracle DB objects designing for incoming / outgoing data; administration of DB Issues; providing technical help to support Teams
- Oracle Implementation specialist (Core Banking, FCCM, ERP, CX, etc.) Database Security Expert a plus
- Familiarity with FFIEC CAT, Infobase & NIST 800 53-5, NIST 800-207 is a plus.
