 Please note: This role is 100 % remote. This position will be extended once filled. Candidate must be able to work PST business hours.
Qualifications:
Minimum skills and experience:
You must possess a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years of industry experience.
Your experience must be in the following:
• Embedded FW development experience in a high-level language (C/C++)
• SW development skills (devolvement, validating, testing, debugging, etc.)
• Object-Oriented Programming Techniques and scripting tools – using C/C++, Python or Perl
Preferred skills and experiences that will make you stand out:
• CPU/GPU Architecture
• SoC or platform level power and thermal management
• Silicon debugging experience

If you are passionate about computer graphics and working with leading graphics engineers on Intel's latest GPU/CPU architecture, then our Graphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) Team has opportunities for you. Graphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. The Discrete Graphics SoC team is within GTCHE and we charter/responsible for improving the energy efficiency of our Xe* GPUs. As a member of Power Management team, you will be prototyping low-power solutions for various design blocks. You will be collaborating with architects, RTL and Platform, and software teams to analyze and implement low-power solutions for next generation Intel GPU products. We are looking for a SOC FW Design Engineer to join our team.
You will help with the following responsibilities:
• Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development. Determines architecture design, Firmware design, and simulation.
• Reading Specifications and interpreting technical specs, Firmware development
• C++ and Advanced SW development skills - Clean Code principles, Software Development
• Willing to operate in ambiguity where roles may not be clearly defined or teams across multiple/functions and IP/SOC must be pulled together.
