Java, Hive, Autosys, Unix, PL SQL to The Job Role will involve playing a key role as a Bigdata Developer. Being part of the team working in projects related to Big Data Technologies. Would also be required to get involved in POCs RD and solution development as and when required. May require traveling to customer locations. Overall Experience 7-9 yrs Big Data Experience a. Experience in Database technologies sound experience in handling working with data. b. Should have atleast 1 yrs. experience working on a Big Data Project not POC c. Should have experience in HDFS, HIVE, SCOOP and MapReduce d. Ability to write MapReduce jobs and UDFs. Good understanding of OOPs and Core Java e. Strong experience in development and design with good and hands on HIVEQL knowledge f. Candidate should be hands on development experience in Hadoop using MapReduce andor Hive. g. Should have good knowledge about operating Systems, networking , filesystem , database h. Familiarity on any data loading tool ETL i. Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices j. Analytical and problem solving skills, applied to Big Data domain Secondary Skills Desired a. Should have customer facing technical presentation skills b. Should have handled large volumes of data c. Java Certifications Cloudera Certifications d. Knowledge on performance optimization tuning Soft Skills a. Should be able to drive initiatives independently. Should be a Go Getter and independent. b. Pro-active, and have good communication skills to articulate technical issues, concepts in email and verbal forms. c. Should be open for travel and customer project execution d. Should be independent and able to generate ideas own initiatives
