Technical Architect
Location: Creve Coeur, MO
Duration: 12 months

The Technical Architect will be working hands on, on our API Engineering Team, participating in API Development, laying out and communicating API best practices. He/She will be required to work on Cloud Platforms in setting up and maintaining API Management suites. Additionally, candidate is expected to have knowledge on B2B Platforms as well such as Data Power, Cast Iron and other Middleware integration suites. The API Engineering team develops and maintains API Platform automations and API''s consumed by business applications across the Company. Candidate is expected to be proficient in API Management and responsible for collaboration, development and implementation of APIs on a Cloud Platform.

Experienced IT Technical Architect – worked in large organizations influencing technology selection and developed API Platform Solutions
Strong leadership skills and an ability to influence decisions
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience and 4 years of API development experience
Up to date Technical and Programming skills - Familiarity with at least one modern backend programming language like Java, JavaScript, C#, Scala
Experience designing, creating and supporting RESTful API micro services
Experience securing APIs and/or services

Additional Desirable Skills:
Possesses a technology agnostic thought process
Engineering background with experience in developing and implementing all forms of API''s (B2B, B2C)
Experience with security technologies (OAuth, SAML, OIDC, etc)
Experience with API Management platforms (Apigee, Akana, Mule, Kong, WS02)
Experience with Configuration and development on Data Power, Cast Iron, MQ Series for B2B Integration Scenarios
Experience designing, creating, and operating continuous delivery pipelines
Experience with any Cloud PaaS – for example AWS, Google
Familiar with Cloud-First architecture – loosely coupled systems, fault-tolerance, HA, scalability
