PeopleSoft Functional Asset Management Consultant

Description:
A Functional Specialist to support the client’s Asset Management (AM) module as part of the 9.2 upgrade and assist with the asset disposal and physical inventory scanning projects.
After the upgrade, the resource will assist with asset mobility projects and possibly the use of IT Asset Management. The resource will utilize PeopleSoft Asset Management and business process knowledge to provide details on how the application can be used to meet project objectives.
Responsibilities will include running reports, designing and testing new functionality, training, and supporting the project and staff from an application perspective.
The resource will also assist the PeopleSoft support team with the continued development, testing, upgrade, and production support of PeopleSoft Financials.
In addition to the focus on the Asset Management module and the interaction of the asset data with the other modules, the Functional Specialist will assist with other modules the client is currently using or may implement. The Functional Specialist will assist the PeopleSoft support staff and will work directly with the administrative users of the application.

Job Duties:
Support the upgrade of the clients ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application from the current 9.1, PeopleTools 8.54 version to 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.55;
Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the client, especially the Asset Management and Financial staff;
Assist with asset mobility and scanning projects;
Work directly with other consultants from multiple firms working on the upgrade and other PeopleSoft related projects.

Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with the Asset Management module in PeopleSoft Financials with relevant experience in version 9.2;
Knowledge and experience working with the interaction of Asset Management activity with other modules, especially Purchasing;
Direct experience supporting a Physical Inventory using PeopleSoft Financials;
Knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools (nVision, Crystal, PS Query
Upgrading to PeopleSoft Financials to 9.2;
PeopleSoft Financials at a federal entity;
The other modules the client is currently using: General Ledger, Commitment Control, Accounts Payable, and the Purchasing and eProcurement modules;
Integrating Scanning solutions with PeopleSoft Financials functionality;
PeopleSoft fluid functionality.
