Job Responsibilities

Job Summary and Scope of Responsibility:
Operational and data administration/maintenance responsibilities for master data management (MDM) for materials, customers and vendors across the enterprise.
– Entry of new or change of existing master data elements in SAP-ECC
– Documentation of MDM data standards/definitions, work instructions, process flows and supporting systems
– Measure and audit master data content & quality
– Support and train data users
– Recommend opportunities for continuous improvement
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This role will report to and take direction from the Manager of the Date Management Organization (DMO Incredibly detailed person with outstanding communication and follow up skills will be part of a global team with a tight deadline working in an Agile format to help find correct data from specific users to update in SAP.
– As a team member of the Center of Excellence, gain a broad and deep understanding of the company''s business operations and the impacts of master data.
– Data collection for new product promotion and changes or improvements to existing products
– Data auditor to ensure the highest quality of data to support these programs and enable speed to market and customer satisfaction
– Work closely with multiple departments including, but not limited to, Finance & Accounting, HR, Customer Care, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Distribution & Logistics, Engineering and Sales & Marketing and Information Technology on master processes and data
– Administering and maintaining adherence to established master data processes and metrics
– Data analysis & processing; measure and present work outputs
– Observe and review data governance, organization, policies, standards, processes, and systems to keep current with latest organization and business partner needs
– Conduct training and on master data and master data processes for the team, users and business partners
– Partner with the business and DMO analyst/leads to gain an in-depth knowledge of master data definitions and usage of all cross-functional master data entities.
– Adhere to established master data processes and data maintenance of master data entities, elements and their impact to core operational business processes.
– Observe and review data practices, policies, standards, processes, and systems
– Identify gaps and implement improvements
– Design & implement supporting technology systems to automate MDM processes – which can include, but not limited to, forms, scripts, macros, and workflow.
– Work with end-users to analyze and resolve production data problems
– Meet or exceed service level agreements
– Measure and present work outputs
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
– Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent required.
Experience:
– Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Business and/or Information Technology.
– Outstanding communication and follow up skills with amazing attention to detail
– Minimum of 2 years of experience with SAP MM
– Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
– Minimum of 2 years of experience executing or supporting one or more of the following:
Finance & Accounting, HR, Customer Care, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Distribution & Logistics, Engineering or Sales & Marketing
Experience as a project team member or business process team member on a business or technology project
Experience in Business process design, documentation and implementation
Experience in IT Technical design or development
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
– SAP or equivalent ERP system experience is critical
– Basic understanding of one or more of the following: Engineering Change Notices, Finance and Accounting, HR, Customer Care, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Distribution & Logistics, Engineering or Sales & Marketing processes
– Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communications and presentation. Must be proficient with MS Office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint)
– Ability to work cross-functionally and to learn and adapt to new business processes, technologies, and environments. Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
– Agile, Lean and/or Six Sigma skills a plus
