Web developer (Java)
Location: across US (candidate must be open to relocate)
F2F on Fri/Sat in Phoenix AZ
Java 8, J2EE, Spring (MVC, Data-JPA, Security), Hibernate,
RESTful Webservices, Jenkins or Bamboo, HTML 5, JSP, Javascript, JQuery,
Ajax, Angular JS
broad experience with relational databases, data modeling, and
Object-Oriented software designs.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or
equivalent experience.
Professional Experience :
Minimum 5+ years of experience developing complex,
high-performance enterprise software using Java/J2EE technologies.
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Should be able to explain each detail/ tool/ framework included
in resume.
Should show enthusiasm about the interview process and affinity
to Cognizant.
Candidate should have strong consulting background and have
- The candidates should have Healthy coding habits
- Ability to Undestand, use and justify Java/JEE design patterns
- Demonstrate, Understand and use UML and other object oriented
software design
- Ability to Understand, use and build / maintain frameworks using
Java/Spring
- Derive solutions for customer problems/issues
- Tune performance and solve bottlenecks
- Ability to articulate usage of Java/Spring in scenario''s defined and
defend solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge of code reviews, unit and regression testing.
