Position: Technical PM
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: Fulltime

Job Summary
Act as a Scrum Master and the TPM will be responsible for detailed sprint planning and execution of the plan over the course of the sprint.
Required Competencies:
Minimum of 10 years. As of experience in IT and at least 5 years of experience in Project management; Strong understanding of Traditional/Agile SDLC lifecycle and Test management, and relevant experience for the same.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; Ability to influence stakeholders and partners across all levels; Get things done as per project milestones.
Demonstrates accountability, thought-leadership, initiative, independence and willingness to learn; Demonstrated ability to lead and work with teams across multiple locations and time zones
Desired Competencies:
Familiarity with Agile Project Management and tools like RTC Work item management to track tasks, progress and burn down, QC for defect recording and tracking.
Scrum master certification.
Required Technical/Domain Skills:
Functional and technical knowledge of the Banking, Cards and Investments portfolio; Ability to understand the functional requirement of the Business and translate the same to a technical solution.
Job Description
Plan the Sprint backlog with the Business, BA , Design, Test and Development Leads.
Facilitate creation of the tasks for the Sprint on RTC with dependencies linked.
Execute the daily scrum call and take status of the delivery.
Ensure impediments reported in the scrum call are acted upon, escalate those that are on critical path for better traction and closure.
Participate in the Scrum-of-Scrum calls and work on the inter-dependencies.
Monitor and report the sprint progress to key stake holders.
Ensure sprints are adequately resourced with dedicated team members.
Be a coach by asking the right questions to the team so they realize the better solutions.
Be part of technical discussions and solution; guide the team to make the decisions.
Use management manipulation or "coaching" on the team and product owner to put the project on an optimized (business value / development cost) path
Be the Single Point of Contact for all internal and external communication.
