Position: SharePoint Lead Developer

Job Description:

Must be local to San Diego - position is located downtown
Mid to Senior Level Developer needed

The SharePoint Developer uses latest site content and .NET technologies to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals. Designs, develops, and manages site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing web portals.

Skills Required:

1. 7+ Years of experience in SharePoint development/implementation.
2. 2+ years of developing SharePoint 2013 based solutions.
3. Experience programming in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, C/C++, XML.
4. Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
5. Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications.
6. Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.
7. Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.
8. Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and analyze SQL data.
9. Experience with IIS 8.x, Windows 2012 Server, and TFS.
10. Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables.
11. Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion.
12. Must have a strong programming background authoring well written, well documented, modular and clean code.
13. Must be well organized, a good communicator, able to effectively prioritize tasks, and manage your projects from concept to production.
14. Must be able to write thorough and concise functional and design specifications as well as easily readable end user documentation.
15. Must be well able to brainstorm with others, thrive in a collaborative team environment, and quickly adapt to change.
16. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired.

Optional Skills:

1. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services a plus.
2. Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 Designing and Developing Applications certification is a plus but not required.
3. Experience with AvePoint preferred.
4. Experience with implementing Kerberos preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

The SharePoint Developer will be involved in the following areas on a regular basis:

SharePoint Portal Development and Administration
o Develop custom SharePoint 2013 UI functionality per design document
o Develop integration code between SharePoint and SQL Server
o Customize content processing
o Implement application authentication and authorization
o Creation/Enhancements of functional units involving web parts/App parts
o Implement SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards
o Troubleshoot and resolve web application issues
o Work autonomously from requirements to deployment to environments
o Support SharePoint users with access needs
o Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

IPTS System Documentation
o Maintain an up-to-date system documentation
o Assist in finalizing technical documentation in preparation for system go-live and Production support

IPTS Web Application Support
o Provide technical support on other IPTS web components/applications.
