Job Description :
Role: Senior Oracle Developer
Location: New York City
Duration: 12+ months (7 hours work day)

Scope Of Services
The consultant will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of database structures as well as the data manipulation, storage and summarization as displayed in reports.
Database development work is performed with Oracle 11g RDMS, Oracle PL/SQL and BiPublisher
The programmer is to create data structure and capture all data into the repository of an Oracle database for the creation of the Juvenile Justice Provider Agency Measurement System.
Transfers knowledge of assigned projects and code to ACS personnel via one on one mentoring.
Create/Update all technical design documents as required.
Create/execute/document unit testing.

Mandatory Skills/Experience
A minimum of 6 years'' experience in the design, development, programming and implementation of IT applications utilizing relational databases.
Must have extensive knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle 12g RDBMS.
Experience with version manager software.

Desirable Skills Experience
- Unix Shell Scripting preferred on Solaris platform or Perl
- ERWIN
- Basic DBA tasks including the manipulation of system tables
- Experience using SQLLDR, FTP Secure and Curl
- XML
- Oracle Certified professional
- Demonstrated knowledge of ODS database logical design and table structures with extensive knowledge and clear understanding of worker unit hierarchy and processing of workers workload
- Demonstrated knowledge of logical design and table structure of NYS Connections system database.
- A minimum of 3 years'' experience providing operational support in the implementation of automated systems supporting child welfare services with either a large public or a private child welfare agency (servicing annually a minimum of 1,000 children)
