Job Description :
The PeopleSoft (Peoplecode) support role to provide technical and limited functional support of enterprise wide PeopleSoft HCM applications.
Supporting minor application enhancements, associated subsystems and required interfaces. Responsible for responding to helpdesk customer support requests for PeopleSoft assistance, monitoring PeopleSoft application server logs, regularly checking electronic sources for applicable patches and fixes, providing PeopleSoft infrastructure support and working directly with the Application Services and IT Staff to maintain enterprise PeopleSoft applications. Maintenance/ breakfix, minor enhancements, following ITIL processes, etc
In depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials/HCM version 9.0 or higher.
In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Configuration Manager, Application Server, Process Scheduler, Report Manager and PeopleSoft Internet Architecture(PIA) is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot SQR code, PeopleCode, COBOL programs, Oracle queries, SOA, and PeopleTools.
Experience developing application customizations, interfaces and reports.
Must have the ability to quickly identify problems and work with Oracle PeopleSoft support and Application Services team to implement solutions with minimal downtime.
Technical proficiency in developing user reports with PS/Query and nVision including the ability to write queries for testing/validating source system data.
Ability troubleshoot problems with PeopleSoft security.
Must have strong critical thinking skills, using logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Strong customer service background.
Detail oriented, with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Resolution of incidents as identified by the client within the PeopleSoft system
