Position Summary

As an MDM (Master Data Management) Lead Software Development Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects. You will be responsible for conducting workshops and work sessions with stakeholders, mapping uses and business processes, gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, assessing technical constraints and considerations, and creating functional design. In this role you will also work closely with our business clients and must demonstrate functional and technical knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber. Your ability to communicate with stakeholders and effectively present solutions will be crucial to ensuring the success of our client engagements. In-depth knowledge of the tools, processes and methodologies for all phases of the SDLC is required.

Principal Accountabilities

· Coordinate MDM (Master Data Management) projects and participate as MDM subject matter expert on corporate projects.

· Collaborate with IT Staff, Systems Analysts, and business subject matter experts, to support the MDM environment.

· Monitor the MDM environment for issues and resolve as needed.

· Design test plans, execute test scenarios, validate test data, and document test results

· Capable of translating customer and internal specifications for enhancements to the MDM application

· Experienced working knowledge of ETL application functions and processes

· Responsible for preparing design/technical/functional specification documentation.

· Designs, configures/codes, tests, debugs and documents software/solution according to IT systems standards, policies and procedures.

· Prepares test data for unit, development integration and performance testing.

· Resolves customer issues with software solutions and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

· Interacts with business users and I/T to define current and future application requirements.

Required Skills & Experience, Knowledge:

· Excellent working knowledge of the IBM MDM Applications (Collaborative Edition is a plus)

· Proficient in Java/J2EE, SQL Webservices, XML)

· Solid working knowledge of ETL applications (e.g. IBM Infoshere DataStage)

· Demonstrated experience with Data Profiling, Data Cleansing

· Excellent working knowledge of Data Cleaning Applications (IBM InfoStage DataStage - Quality Stage designer is a plus)

· Strong knowledge of SAP ERP Systems and data structures (e.g. customer, vendor, product)

· Strong project management experience leading / executing projects

Experience:

· 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

· Undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences or a related field and 8-10 years relevant experience, or Graduate degree and 6-8 years of relevant
