FAA CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT  ( NON -US Citizens)
·         Has to be in US in last 3 years
·         Need not have travelled outside US in last 3 years for over 6 months (180 days)

Electrical Engineer ( Senior)
Location:  16 New England Executive Park, Burlington, MA
Duration : Long Term Contract

Travel : 25% Estimated
Telecommute for 1 day is possible after few months
Flexi-timings might be worked out : 40 hrs a week

Responsibilities:
·         Provide planning, estimating, scheduling, engineering, coordination, contracting, installation, inspection, and acceptance of electrical systems/services for air traffic facilities in the FAA Eastern Service Area, specifically power services systems including electrical generator replacement programs.
·         Assist with the development and review of designs, specs, and system program plans, preparation of project schedules, and development of project engineering packages
·         Design and conduct design reviews of complex electrical/electronic systems, components, and equipment associated with the modernization, expansion and upgrade of complex electrical, electronics and visual aids systems within the NAS. Electrical power systems may include combinations of more than one source of commercial power, auxiliary engine generators, power conditioning systems, uninterruptible power systems and complex switching and monitoring systems

Required Skills:
·         BS/ BA degree with 9 years or MS/MA with 7 years or PhD with 4 years relevant experience  
·         Experience in electrical engineering related to facility construction, alteration, restoration, and auditing is required.
·         Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering design or design review of power systems, generators, high voltage, grounding, lightning protection, and backup power systems.
·         Strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes is also required.
·         Experience in managing projects in a lead role and working independently is required.
·         Candidate is expected to be a strong team player and communicator who can inform stakeholders in a professional manner of project goals, issues, risks, and schedule

Desired Skills:
·         Knowledge of the National Airspace System is desired but not required
