Job Title: Finance Project Manger

Duration: 12 months ( Possibility of extension)

Job summary:
The Finance Project Management organization (PMO) is seeking a Finance Project Manager to oversee the finance project portfolio and ensure that organization and company objectives will be met through delivery of the right projects at the right time.
In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the data gathering and prioritization process for Finance-IT projects - especially those in our Order-to-Cash work-flow - and serve as the project manager for large, cross-functional projects. This role reports to the Manager, Global Finance Operations and provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to all the finance functions and systems used by a multinational company.

Primary job responsibilities:
Organize, prioritize, and maintain the Finance portfolio of IT projects from idea creation to delivery
Collaborate with Global Finance team members and project leaders to complete business cases for prioritization
Simultaneously manage multiple business projects from inception to delivery, across diverse geographic locations with coordination of resources, tasks, and deliverables
Facilitate all checkpoint and health-check activities throughout the life cycle of projects
Exercise good judgment in identifying issues, facilitating problem-solving, and recommending solutions
Engage the proper finance or business team and work to coordinate business change management for project initiation and delivery
Help finance teams understand technology options and use the collaboration tools available
Think through new problems, and pro-actively develop plans not addressed by established procedure

Top desired skills:
Experience interfacing finance systems with 3rd party systems
Experience with ERP implementation projects
Prior experience as a Finance Accountant or Analyst moved into Project Management role
Experience working with Oracle Financials, specifically Oracle Receivables/iPayments/Order Management

Required skills:
At least 3-5 years of project management experience, which should include ERP implementation projects and experience interfacing internal finance systems with 3rd party systems
Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills with clients and team members
Proven ability to deliver medium to large size projects successfully within set parameters
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to organize and conduct medium to large sized meetings, and manage assigned responsibilities with limited supervision
Background preparing financial business cases, including capital and expense analysis and return on investment
Experience using collaboration tools such as Mojo or Etherpad
Skill with programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, Publisher, and PowerPoint, or OpenOffice equivalents
Accounting/Finance experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of Oracle Financials preferred (particularly Receivables, Order Management, iPayments)
