Systems Engineer

The Engineer will assist with the implementation of the BMC Remedy software to our enterprise.
Perform day to day Remedy Administration. Provide technical support of the Remedy Suite including ADDM, BCM, CMDB, Asset Management, Service/Incident/Problem/Change management within the production, test, development and DR environments. Troubleshoot Remedy environment or application issues. Perform upgrades and patch installs in production, test, development, and DR environments
Ability to integrate moderately complex hardware and software .

Required Skills:
5-7 years’ technical experience with BMC Remedy Action Request System, including 7.x and higher
5-7 years of experience with ITSM Suite 7.x and higher – Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, Knowledge, Service
5-7 years of experience with Remedy User Tool, Import Tool, Developer Studio,
5-7 years of experience with Remedy Reporting
5-7 Experience working in a multi-tenancy Remedy environment
5-7 years working in a Windows and/or Linux/UNIX environment
Experience configuring and customizing Remedy 7.x version and higher as desired
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Four or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering or operating systems programming.
Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software and desktop applications with a specific concentration in one or more areas
Experience working with design principles and applications
Good familiarity with ITIL terms and methodologies
Good Analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of systems
Excellent Communication skills to communicate with application developers, customers, support personnel and management; ability to communicate system proposals to management and customers and provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems
Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, and team members
Organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Leadership skills to assist less experienced personnel
Mentoring and training skills to guide and direct work of less experienced specialists
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
ITIL V2/V3 Certification
Experience with Atrium Orhectrator
Experience with Oracle Databases
