Position Summary:

Principal Systems Developer is a leadership position with exposure to senior
management. This position will support the development and vehicle
integration of the amplifier and audio technologies for the automotive
division.

Job Responsibilities:

The Principal Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting all
aspects of system and function development following the defined development
lifecycle processes. The engineer must be capable of analyzing
specifications, developing system architecture, integrating components into
vehicle systems, and validating vehicle systems to verify functionality.
- The responsibility covers the complete V-model, from analysis of customer
requirements to test and release to customer.
- Interface with customer to gather technical requirements and issues. Have
technical discussions with the customer.
- Lead the integration aspects of Client''s new product development programs
at the customer''s site.
- Work with internal platform, software, hardware, mechanical, acoustics,
and validation teams to design and deliver per customer requirements.
- Lead the development of system architecture design.
- Support customer in-vehicle integration and test events.
- Support the build of prototype technologies into development and
demonstration vehicles resolving issues in system, function, and software
levels.
- Support customer technology reviews and vehicle demonstrations include the
responsibility of preparing and presenting vehicle and technical product
details.
- Support the team in the defect management process including planning,
tracking, and ensuring that defects are actively managed.
- Manage the development process and associated work products to ensure
ASPICE compliance.
- Provide input for Development Process for continuous improvement.
- Identify project needs, such as equipment, and procure the necessary
resources.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or
equivalent.
- 10+ years of Microcontroller Embedded software development.
- Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded,
multiprocessor, multi-interface environment.
- Experienced working with vehicle networking (CAN, MOST, etc) and
diagnostics (UDS, KWP2000
- Working knowledge of software development tools (debugger''s, emulators,
compilers, etc
- Ability to read schematics and debug analog and digital hardware.
- Able to use oscilloscope and logic analyzer for troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of embedded operating systems.
- Working knowledge of software development processes and process models
such as CMMI or ASPICE.
- Experienced with technical leadership of other engineers in the
development of software.
- Experienced working with and/or leading off-shore development teams.
- Experienced with development and management of project schedules.
Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
- Master''s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and/or
Master of Business Administration

- Experience or familiarity with AUTOSAR
- Experience working with Vector based CAN, MOST, and Ethernet applications
- Experience writing low level drivers
- Experience with embedded RTOS
- Experience with Renesas V850 / RH850 and/or TI J6 microcontrollers
- Experience or familiarity with model-based system development.
