Senior Analyst, Audience Insights

Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Audience Insights is a quantitative role tasked with
analyzing multiple sources of digital analytics data to uncover useful
product insights & interesting stories for Fox Networks Group websites,
mobile apps, and connected TV (OTT) apps. Working with multiple product and
marketing teams at Fox, the Senior Analyst is responsible for interpreting
data from Adobe Analytics, Localytics, Comscore, and other platforms to
measure the impact of new app features & effectiveness of marketing
campaigns, troubleshoot technical issues, and AB test features to grow
audience and improve user experience in the digital space.

The ideal candidate has a strong background with a variety of measurement
platforms like Adobe Analytics, Localytics, Comscore, and Nielsen, and
understands how to use these tools to perform analyses and reporting. He or
she should have the curiosity and logical skillset to hypothesize user
behaviors by digging into quantitative datasets, and the intuition to
suggest explanations for trends and observations. The Senior Analyst should
have excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate raw
insights and data into stories about Fox Networks Group''s users and products
and to communicate those stories back to both quantitative- and
creative-minded stakeholders.

50%: Ad hoc analyses.

Collaborate with stakeholders in product and marketing teams to create and
answer questions about FNG apps and websites and their users.
Investigate data from product launches, new features, and mature product
areas to proactively uncover useful insights into user behavior and app
performance and evaluate goals and objectives

Analyze results from AB testing, refine test variations, and offer
suggestions for product improvements
Offer quantitative support to technical stakeholders in diagnosing and
troubleshooting technical bugs and other issues impacting product goals
20%: Guidance, tutorials, and training

Teach other researchers, product managers, and marketers how to make the
best use of available data from tools like Adobe Analytics & Google
Analytics

20%: Evergreen reporting

10%: Roadmapping

Work with the analytics implementation team to identify new measurement
opportunities & pain points with existing implementation

Requirements:
B/A in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Statistics, or other related
fields

3-5 years experience in an analyst role
3+ years experience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, mathematical, and creative thinking
skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment
Passion for digital media and technology

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Prior experience with digital video, television, or entertainment fields
Adobe Analytics Implementation Certification
Familiarity with testing tools like Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Wireshark, or
browser developer tools

Familiarity with Agile software development workflows and related tools
(JIRA, Confluence, Zendesk, etc)
