ient s seeking a contracted Project Manager to support agency
efforts in the planning, design, and implementation of the Microsoft
Cloud Technology solution(s


· Plan, manage and monitor the project to ensure success

· Develop and maintain a detailed project plan – work breakdown
structure (WBS), and manage project deliverables in line with the
project plan

· Develop and maintain the required project management plans,
and manage project risks, issues, change and communication according
to the plans - escalate when necessary

· Monitor project progress and performance, and prepare status
reports as identified in the project Communication Plan

· Update the OCIO Dashboard regularly according to policy

· Develop solicitation documents for required project acquisitions

· Lead the project team and workgroups engaged in the project

· Produce other project documentation as required


· Experience planning, designing, and implementing large scale,
complex projects, which crossed multiple organizations, multiple
applications and/or system integrations of Microsoft Cloud Technology,
such as Azure, Office 365, and/or Enterprise Mobile Suite.

· Expert experience managing projects using scheduling software
to create and maintain the project schedule in Microsoft ProjectTM,
DSHS’ standard project scheduling.

· A minimum of 10 years’ experience performing project
management for complex projects which cross multiple organizations and
involve multiple applications.

o Experience must include at least three successful technology
projects where the project was completed on-time, on-budget, and
delivered the expected results. Two of these projects must have been
for government agencies.

· Experience with project status reporting and executive sponsor briefing.

· Familiarity with the operation of Washington state government.

· Experience providing project management consultation for cross
functional (or multi-agency) projects with varying levels of project
management maturity.

· Must be able to provide:

o A list of all any DSHS Projects you have previously worked on.

o A minimum of three customer references that you have provided
similar services for.

o A detailed history of contracts for similar services you
performed, where the combined number of years is three or more.

o A sample of a project schedule you developed.

· Experience developing policies, standards, and/or procedures.

· Experience with updating OCIO dashboards.
