Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Primary Skills
1. Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting of Storage devices
2. Excellent Troubleshooting Skills on Storage Hardware and Software
3. Experience in Architecture/Design of Storage Infrastructure
4. Good in Capacity Management.
5. Experience in Upgrade of Firmware and Microcode of storage, Storage provisioning, storage hardware lifecycle management and maintenance
6. Good troubleshooting knowledge on Storage, ISCSI, Multipath, SRDF Storage Replication, LUN creation and allocation, Powerpath, Multipath IO
7. Experience in migration of Storage from One platform to Other platform or to new version of storage
8. Experience in setting up the storage and connecting it with Server / Network infrastructure at remote facility by coordinating with vendors/ remote person
9. Experience in Datacenter Operations, Managing security permissions, Backups and restoration and
10. Excellent listening skills & ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English
11. Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 support
12. Co-ordination with multiple stake holders / Third party Vendors for break-fix.
13. Support virtualization of multiple Servers using VMWare ESX, Xen, KVM or other similar hypervisor technology;
14. Configure and maintain High Availability (HA) of LUNS allocated to server infrastructure
15. Must be able to
Lead the participate in outage calls
Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required
Participate in daily/ weekly/ monthly/ customer / internal meetings and provide activities report.
Follow Compliance and Regulation policy of TCS and Customer
Understand the SLA and ensure the SLAs are met as per the TCS agreement with customer
Keep the Inventory up to date for global locations
Work with offshore team and ensure deliverables are delivered on time
