Must have MVC5 and Entity 6 experience and solid communication skills!

Senior . NET Developer
The new project is the creation of a new clinical data registry. I do not know the size or scope of the data registry, but the rest of ours are nationwide and will probably be similar. http://cvquality. Client. org/NCDR-Home/Reports. aspx shows more about our current data registries and the reports that come out of there. Size of team is still being determined as well.
The . NET developer will be working on this new registry as well, as an individual contributor.
Need to have strong ASP. NET, MVC 5 /Entity framework 6 exp, and SQL Server experience
Prefer candidates with Sitefinity or Sitecore experience as well but not 100% needed
Only want candidates with Bachelors degrees
Must have strong COMM Skills

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Senior ASP. NET MVC Developer

Function and Scope:
Lead the development and maintenance of custom applications to support Client''s core business systems. The developer''s role is to write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle. The developer will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide status reports where required. Support other client/server and web-based systems, including Client''s web sites, third party vendor interfaces, off-the-shelf enterprise software, and other custom developed solutions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualization and development of new software programs and applications.
Assist in the preparation and documentation of program requirements, detailed technical specifications and the technical deployment documents.
Research and document requirements of program users.
Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to detailed design specifications.
Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
Install software products for end users as required.
Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or appearance of company web site and/or related web applications as necessary.
Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
Produce technical specifications based on requirements.
Responsible for technical design, execution, and implementation of custom and 3rd party software solutions.
Interact with project managers and business analysts to ensure accurate and comprehensive understanding of the requirements.
Assist the management team in standards development, management, and conformance.
Provide issue escalation and resolution as well as timely execution of deadlines.
Create and maintain project documentation.

Requirements:
Bachelor''s Degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field. (Definitely Required)
Eight or more years of development experience with
o C#
o . Net Framework 1. 0 3. 5
o ASP. NET
o jQuery
o AJAX
Eight or more years of experience with SQL Server 2000 / 2005/2008 including: designing database schemas, building and deploying databases, writing complex stored procedures, queries, and views.
Experience with . NET 4. 0 highly desired
Experience with the following technologies highly desired, but not required:
o SharePoint development
o Site Core Development
Thorough understanding of platforms such as Windows 2003/Windows 7 and Internet Information Server.
Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including . Net Framework, AJAX, and web services.
Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.
Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products.
Familiarity with ASP. NET MVC Required
