Sr. Network Engineer

Summary:
The Network Engineer role is responsible for design, implementation, and management of a complex comprehensive secure network framework for connectivity that meets internal and external connectivity needs and requirements. Primary Responsibilities: Contribute to the design, implementation and direct support of customers utilizing an internal Cloud Services Platform. Configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls and VPN Concentrators. Perform network and host-based security and risk assessments, design and implement security-related improvements / enhancements to customer and internal networks and work with network and systems engineers in implementing security infrastructure components. Qualifications: Ethernet, MPLS, EOMPLS, IP, TCP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SSL, 1G/10G network futures, FCIP, FCoE, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco MDS, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, HP Blade systems (VirtualConnect, Flex 10) Experience designing, configuring, installing, maintaining and supporting corporate data center and site network environments to meet the company’s requirements for availability, performance, security and scalability. Skills/Requirements:
chelor''s degree in computer science preferred, related field or equivalent work experience required
8+ years of total work experience, including:
Expert AWS experience around network design in the cloud environment
Expert level Cisco and/or VMware certification desired (e.g. CCIE)
Expert Level experience with Firewalls (CheckPoint preferred)
Excellent Linux system administration skills
Excellent Microsoft system administration skills
Excellent scripting experience (Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby etc
Experience with Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) services and solutions
Riverbed WAN acceleration experience
Experience with Cisco ISE
