Job Description :

Work with platform support team:
Attending customer meeting and provide feedback and guidelines
Schematic review
Answering customer specific questions
Helping customer debug HW issues.
Helping customer optimize power management
Collect and maintain customers design information
Travel to customer sites

Work with NDG HW platform engineering team:
Debugging and fixing HW issues on the board
Detailed board validation / testing

Required Skills:

Experience in wearable design HW architecture
HW Board design that includes HW platform design and reference platform design (Wearable)
Should have worked on full product development cycle (wearable electronics product design is preferred) and completed few products from scratch to manufacturing
Extensive experience in EMI/EMC testing and resolving EMI/EMC issues
Experience in detailed board validation including functional and signal integrity measurements. Specific Interfaces we look for
1. All low speed interfaces
2. Memory interfaces like DDR3, LPDDR3/LPDDR4
3. MIPI C-Phy, D-Phy
4. Validation of BT, Wifi, GPS
5. PCIe, eMMC.
PCB Fab and Board Assembly support. This includes supporting various HV package options
Shall be involved in schematic and layout review, answering customer’s questions and troubleshooting customer’s issues of customers end customer.
Experience in circuit analysis / board design
Experience in board bring up using BSP and diagnostics
Expertise in using test equipment’s like DSO, logic analyser, multimeters, power supplies etc
Excellent soft skills
Bachelor''s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering with proficiency in low power digital embedded systems and analog design and with 5-10 years’ experience
Experience in electrical design, manufacturing process for fabrication and sustaining of high volume portable devices.
Strong system engineering and risk analysis skills with the ability to review customer system designs, block diagrams, power budgets and schematic captures
Excellent writing and cross-cultural communication skills
Experience with Low power battery design utilizing extreme power management with wireless radios (such as BLE/Zigbee/Xbee)
Good board level design and validation skills with an understanding of layout principles and best practices (cross talk, signal integrity, controlled impedance etc.
Ability to work with Firmware and Software engineers on developing prototypes, first article inspection and hardware bring up.
