Job Title: SCRUM Master/AGILE COACH
Duration: 4-6 Months+


Job Description:

- Overall experience of 12+ years
- 6 to 8+ years of full time Agile experience
- 3+ Years AGILE COACH Experience
- Has enabled / coached teams in real time challenging projects / high pressure environments in multiple Agile Methodologies.
- Agile specialist for Multi Location – Distributed, Cross-functional Teams.
- Expert in Scrum & Kanban.
- Hands on with TDD and BDD approaches / implementation.
- Minimum of 2 Agile certifications (for example: ACP, APMG, Strategyex, ICAgile, XP, Kanban, SAFe, CSM, CSC, CSP)
- Highly motivated Agilist keeping up to date with Core Agile principles and innovations.
- Evangelizing / Coaching multiple teams and organization on Agile/Scrum practices.
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.
- Building a trusting and safe / transparent environment.
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, conflict resolution and gap Analysis.
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming the product backlog.
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example

Required Skills/Experience:
- Work with a client who has distributed team structure in multiple geographical locations. Client is already adept to Agile software development practices. Bring your experience to this client to build a new Agile team from Scratch
- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
- Hands-on, applicable knowledge of the technologies (multiple stacks, Java or .Net) used by the team
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
- Expert in JIRA, RALLY

Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus):
- Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II), six sigma certification
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Crystal, FDD, etc
- Previous experience as a team lead
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
