1. Independently provides Tier 1 & 2 production support of applications and databases for software. Monitors production systems for alerts, outages and system issues. Seeks continuous improvements for applications, processes, support methods and team effectiveness.

2. Executes technical procedures to resolve production issues. Evaluates systems and processes in an effort to resolves technical problems Researches issues and performs root cause analysis to minimize risk. Implements effective solutions for break/fix issues and appropriate development initiatives with direction.

3. Develops knowledge of International, Corporate, IT Security Office and Enterprise Shared Service Production Systems. Establishes and grows relationships with the business, technical and management teams. Operates as a trusted collaborative partner with all teams associated with the project. Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of client needs, concerns and challenges.

4. Participates on project teams or initiatives. Interfaces with team members, including Project Managers, Tier I, Elevations, application and development teams and clients.

5. Contributes to growth and maintenance of Production Support Knowledge Base

6. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. MIS or Computer Science degree, preferred.
Minimum two years general experience and one year Information Technology experience.
Strong, demonstrated analysis and problem solving skills.
Should possess a strong knowledge of Unix and Windows platforms.

Knowledge of the following preferred:
UNIX, SPLUNK,Control-M,Database Management Systems,SQL,Event Management (e.g. Sitescope, Tivoli, omnibus)
Sharepoint, Microsoft Office Suite Development Tools

Good interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.

Good project and time management skills
