Title - IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Duration – 6 Months (Possibility to go perm., but no guarantee)
Location: Raleigh, NC 27601

Summary of Responsibilities:
Seeking smart, experienced individual to be part of its IT Global Support and Delivery Team.
This Team Member will play a key role in supporting IT projects delivering on Office and Infrastructure Projects. This Team Member will have multiple, awesome, challenging projects, so they must be a motivated, team focused problem solver.

Summary of Responsibilities:
The PM is responsible for coordination and completion of the project and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including, helping define scope, planning, facilitating meetings, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring, summarizing and communicating progress of the project.
The PM will be responsible for managing multiple projects both global and local. The PM actively leads and directs cross-functional team members to ensure all deliverables, program/project/campaign objectives, process milestones and quality measures are completed on-time and on-budget. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record successfully managing a wide variety of projects leveraging technology to drive business improvements on time and on budget. Responsibilities may require occasional after-hours work for implementations, post-production coordination and other project-driven events as needed.

Project Manager Job Duties:
Manage the delivery of Infrastructure projects within agreed scope, standards, budget, time scales, and tolerances.
Responsible to support IT infrastructure builds and expansion. Bridging gap between IT and Facilities.
Effectively leads and motivates project teams through the tasks of developing and executing project objectives.
Manages stakeholder expectations and communication flow as they relate to project deliverables, scope and the internal project team.
Facilitates and works with team leads to define a detailed and accurate project scope.
Run effective meetings with both internal (project team(s) & steering committee) and external third parties while ensuring that all meetings are minuted, actions assigned with deadlines and published.
Defines and manages team expectations regarding scope of work and responsibilities.
Accurately anticipates and catches deviations from a plan or schedule early to assess their impact to the schedule and to keep stakeholders informed.
Ensures projects meet deadlines
Ensure that all risks and issues are captured and managed throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
Manages vendor relationships as it relates to the project.
Coordinates across departments to manage day-to-day workflow to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
Ensures internal systems are updated with the necessary information to ensure all team members, managers and directors can access the necessary project and/or resource related information.

Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) with a broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies.
Experience planning, deploying, and managing IT systems for Office Builds and Data Centers.
Have good knowledge of Network, Voice, Video, Audio/Visual and Wireless projects including experience with new office builds and IT infrastructure upgrades.
Good understanding of Low Voltage cabling design infrastructure.
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to effectively communicate upwards via presentations, telephone, email, and in-person.
Flexibility to adapt work style to environmental changes.
Broad understanding of technologies and processes that support business systems.
Demonstrated ability to follow project management methodology, plan and to implement projects on time and within budget.
Proficient at leading the project team in defining the project deliverables, milestones, resource plan, communication plan, testing plan and schedule.
In depth understanding of business systems life-cycle and associated implementation methodologies, tools and techniques.
Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management to assess business requirements, and to plan, manage and deliver stable, reliable and cost-effective technology solutions.
Good understanding of accepted operational and financial business practices.
Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets. Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.
