Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Interaction Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Human Factors •
Experience with large company, co-branded websites with B-to-B and B-to-C platforms • Experience designing mobile applications • Experience as an information architect, interaction designer, experience designer or a similar role • Familiarity with large, transaction-oriented websites • Familiarity with financial services and/or education industries • Experience with wireframing applications such as Omnigraffle and Visio Skills and Knowledge: • Wire-framing and prototyping skills • Knowledge of mobile software development • Familiarity with complex, conditional, interaction design • Familiarity with Agile development and rapid prototyping • Comfortable with responsive design • Bias towards collaboration

Description:
We’re looking for a driven and talented UX designer to lead the design of our Mobile Apps.
Our Workplace Investing (WI) mobile team is agile, fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative. You’ll be at the forefront of our efforts to design the next generation of our workplace mobile apps, working under the direction of the UX Director, and in partnership with the Product owner.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead and motivate a cross-functional design team on both strategic visioning and tactical delivery projects. Our mobile team includes user research, content strategy, visual design, and front-end development; the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across these disciplines is key.
Direct the design team’s efforts toward a standard of excellence in sync with the client’s business goals, expectations, and budget.
Manage the day-to-day working relationship with the Product owner (client management “soft skills” are a must), exchanging ideas, communicating progress, and handling shifting priorities.

Through the use of Axure, Invision, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, pencil and paper to create wireframes, journey maps, concept maps, clickable prototypes, and other visual storytelling assets.
Engage as the key interaction designer for our mobile applications and websites The User Experience Design team is responsible for designing our award-winning websites, mobile applications and internal workstations.

We are currently looking for a contract Mobile Designer to join our fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.
Responsibilities: • Engage as the key interaction designer for our mobile applications and websites • Collaborate with a team of information architects, visual designers, editors, prototypers and researchers to deliver an optimal user experience and design solution •
Conduct comparative/competitive analyses, define site/application structures and create site maps, wireframes and user flows •
Drive development of the visual treatment for the application, ensuring that it stays consistent with the existing standards •
Serve as the business partner’s primary point of contact within the Design team.
Ensure design team efforts are in sync with the client’s business goals, expectations and budget •
